Yesterday marked the launch of the Mrs South Africa Earth at the Michelangelo Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg. Actress, Gail Mabalane held it down as the Master of Ceremonies for the event.
Founded by Sizani Ngobeni, Thando Soko and Ndihone Ndzinisa, the Mrs South Africa Earth pageant is about beauty with a purpose. It is a pretty phenomenal pageant and leadership programme for married women.
Mrs SA Earth is based on both inner and outer beauty, focusing on married women aged 25-49, with or without kids, that are role models on all levels, in any area of their lives. It is a powerful and very relevant opportunity to create a network of support, while bringing awareness and amplification to the voices of women doing good.
It is a pageant with substance and real purpose. It appeals to women who are trying to make a difference in their community or city, by committing to an environmental or social development cause.
The pageant is the new era of women, where beauty lies in her passion for people, the environment and ultimately enriching our country with her time, ambition and love.
The heart of these women as well as the pageant, is the preservation of Mother Earth in any shape or form, spanning across all industries and market sectors in the political, economic and/or social spheres.
