The Miss South Africa 2020 top 35 finalists were unveiled earlier this week. We celebrate the Queens that have been selected and look forward to watching them go through the journey of becoming Miss SA.

The group of ladies are an impressive and diverse group which includes two medical doctors, a lawyer, a teacher, a film maker, a singer and a fashion designer. 

Over the next few weeks, the 35 beauties will have to set out to amaze this year’s judges, amongst others, Anele Mdoda and three former Miss SA winners, Bokang Montjane

We are in awe of Rich Mnisi’s luxurious Azania Loungewear range. He recently revealed the winter collection which includes polo necks, branded tracksuits, and scarves. The collection left many envious!

A Rich Mnisi polo neck and skirt from the retails for R2,000 and R1,300. His Azania bags range from R13,000 to R32,000. Rich Mnisi has dressed several famous faces including international superstar Beyoncé.

The  “Black Coffee Luncheon” was attended by local A-listers such as Boity Thulo, Basetsana Kumalo, Babalwa Mneno, Sarah Langa, Kefilwe Mabote, to name a few. The day was celebrated in a luxurious fashion befitting the famous DJ.

The DStv Mzansi Viewers’ Choice Awards was a fashion extravaganza! The event took place on the 14th of March at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg – South Africa. Minnie Dlamini Jones stepped up to the plate and carried the host duties with great aplomb and elegance! Of course, the girls in the media and fashion industry showed up looking their best. Boity Thulo’s dress was the most talked about in all social media platforms.

It was a grand celebration of local talent. The performers and winners on the DStvMVCA stage represented the iconic past, exciting present, and innovative future of South African entertainment.

Ukhozi FM VJ Khathide ‘Tshathugodo’ Ngobe walked away with the Favourite Radio Personality award as well as the biggest award of the night – Ultimate Viewers’ Choice Award, an accolade reserved for the nominee who earns the highest number of votes overall. 

Moshe Ndiki (Favourite TV Presenter), Siyanda Maphumulo (Favourite Comedian), Kabza De Small (Favourite Rising Star; Favourite DJ), Warren Masemola (Favourite Actor), Sindi Dlathu (Favourite Actress), King Monada (Favourite Music Artist/Group), Siya Kholisi(Favourite Sports Personality) and Bonang Matheba (Favourite Personality of the Year) rounded up the winners’ list.

Sunday the 1st of March 2020 saw the final sizzle of summer! It was the crisp chill of champagne, live entertainment, delicious cuisine and the culmination of the series showcased at the most exclusive polo event of the year.

The Veuve Clicquot Polo Series took place at Val de Vie Estate in Cape Town and it was a fashion showstopper. Hosted by actress and philanthropist Nomzamo Mbatha, the most sought-after polo experiences brought together local celebs who looked their best in coordination with the theme; Parisian-Retro-Chic.
